    • No lip filler/treatments at least 4 weeks before or after your procedure.

    • Do not schedule when you have an upcoming event. You need at least 5-7 days to heal.

Things TO DO before Lip Blush:

    • Eat before your procedure.

    • Prep your lips prior to the procedure by using a lip scrub once a day for 3 days before your service. This will help to exfoliate off any extra layers of dead skin for optimal lip blush application. (DO NOT over scrub to the point you have raw or compromised skin. If this happen your appointment may be subject to rescheduling.

    • Moisturize your lips daily to maintain smooth texture.

  • You will have a touch up appointment 6-10 weeks after your initial lip blush session. Then you will come back every 1-3 years for a touch up.

  • Initially after the service, the color is darker and the lips may be tender and swollen. Initial swelling will go down within the first 24-48 hours. It is important to be patient during this process as a lot of change will happen. The initial healing will take about 5-7 days, but a full 30 days for the skin to fully regenerate to see the true color. Once healed, the color will fade about 50%.

Within the first 7 days, the color will get darker then start to get flakey. It is essential to not pick at the skin and keep the lips hydrated every day with Aquafor.

Things to avoid 7 days after your service:

    • Do not get them wet for the first week. Avoid putting your face directly in water when showering or washing your face. Drink water from a straw.

    • High intensity exercise or sweating.

    • Direct sunlight or tanning.

    • Facials, botox, chemical treatments, microneedling, and microdermabrasion.

    • Makeup, skin care, or sunscreen on treated area.

    • Swimming in pools, lakes, hottubs.

    • Long hot showers/saunas.

    • DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Picking can result in scarring and/or loss of color.

  • Yes, you are able to get lip blush if you have lip filler. But if you are contemplating getting both filler and lip blush done, it is recommended to get lip filler first then lip blush after. You must wait at least 4 weeks after getting lip filler to allow them to be fully healed, before doing lip blush.

It is important to note that if you decide to dissolve your lip filler, after having lip blush done the color will appear more saturated due to the fact the lip skin is no longer stretched out.

  • With lip blush, it is essential to only follow the natural lip shape and outline for each client and not tattoo outside of that. This is because the lip skin and face skin are completely different and will not heal the same. If you are looking to have fuller lips, lip filler may be a better option for you.

  • Yes, but you must contact your physician and request a prescription for any antiviral. (ex: Valtrex)
